A trusted James Hardie installer,
Kent Cladding has recently completed a rejuvenation project consisting of two homes in the seaside town of Herne Bay.
Both properties were only four years old yet the timber cladding that was specified when the homes were being built had started to become worse for wear. Time for an upgrade. Richard, the director of Kent Cladding recommended James Hardie to the homeowners due to the low maintenance, long life and durability that
Hardie® Plank offers over comparable products.
The homeowners chose to order a
homeowner sample box to compare the range of colours on offer and decided to go with contrasting colours to bring the style and modern design of the properties to life. Heathered Moss which is a warm and compelling, softly greying green was set off against Pearl Grey which is a elegant white-toned neutral inspired from the softest colours in nature, sand and beach-strewn seashells. The material was supplied by a local James Hardie stockist Shepherds in Maidstone.
The current timber cladding had suffered intensely over the years from the seaside wind and rain conditions, meaning it had started to fade and crack which had led to discolouration of the original façade. James Hardie fibre cement can withstand the effects of the most extreme UK weather. Leaving a permanently beautiful and durable facade. Our
ColourPlus™ Technology provides, a multi-coat, baked-on finish that is fade-resistant and does not require regular repainting. It is also guaranteed for 15 years.
