The second phase improved the livability for tenants in the building with a new entrance, kitchen, dining area, common spaces, elevator, barrier free modifications to four units, and other site improvements.
Emma Cubitt, Principal at the project architect Invizij, considered a number of options when it came to selecting the right materials for the scheme:
‘We wanted to specify a product that offered design flexibility with a good colour range, great aesthetic and ease of installation.
Hardie® Panel fibre cement cladding also offered the added benefits of being a non-combustible board, as well as enabling us to meet our tight budget constraints on the scheme.
‘We are thrilled with the end result. The building has been transformed and now has a beautiful, contemporary aesthetic.’
Hardie® Panel cladding is featured across the full façade of the project in the colours Arctic White, Heathered Moss and Iron Grey.
