Hardie® Plank facades adds durable beauty to Cityglades residential development

Truly unique, Cityglades is a stylish, intimate collection of houses located within walking distance of Cambridge city centre.

Designed to enhance everyday modern living, the developer This Land^TM  specified mixed materials, combining a half wrap of James Hardie cladding with local brick and render as the exterior finish of each house.

In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, key requirements for the facade cladding were that it needed to be non-combustible and sustainable. This Land, opted for James Hardie fibre cement cladding because of it's durability and long lifespan, which reduce the need to replace or repaint them over time. 

The new Hardie® VL Plank weatherboard adds a fresh tongue-and-groove look and Hardie® Plank overlap weatherboard provides depth and character. Pearl Grey and Anthracite Grey was the chosen colour choices from the James Hardie ColourPlus technology range.
